Accessibility
The Adelaide Convention & Exhibition Centre (ACEC) is an accessible venue for all visitors. You can request assistance from their floor ambassadors, organised prior to the event for convenience or upon arrival. The ACEC is committed to creating an experience everyone can enjoy, with visits that are thoughtfully planned, easy to navigate and convenient. Find more information from Venue website.
Lift
The ACEC offer lift and escalator access to all three levels, including entry from North Terrace and the Adelaide Riverbank Promenade.
Wheelchair access
Convenient wheelchair access is available via lifts accessing all levels. Stage ramping, portable wheelchair lifts and additional wheelchairs can all be arranged. Accessible toilets are located across all three levels.
Sensory impairment
The ACEC is fitted out with digital and braille signage along with an audible PA system, to guide sensory impaired guests around the venue. Braille signage can be arranged in the event space, and hearing augmentation systems are also available upon request. An audible PA system is installed throughout the centre and used in the event of an emergency.
Service animals
The ACEC allows service animals inside the venue, at the owner’s responsibility. Please reach out prior to the event if you have specific questions or concerns.
Private rooms
The ACEC offers accessible, purpose-built rooms for mothers and caregivers. These rooms are available for feeding, changing and privacy during events, and are recognised by the Australian Breastfeeding Association. Private prayer rooms are also available upon request.
