HIV Unwrapped 3.0

Wednesday 16 September 2026
Drinks and nibbles will be served from 5:00pm, for a 6:00pm runway start.

From the HIV pandemic’s origins in the early 1980’s to the present day, art emerges as a powerful tool, fostering empathy, challenging misconceptions and amplifying the voices and diverse experiences of those living with HIV.

HIV Unwrapped helps explore the intersection between HIV science, innovation and visual artistry – envisioning new creative responses to HIV whilst paying tribute to how artistic expression has helped shape the medical, cultural and political response to HIV.

In conjunction with the Australasian HIV&AIDS Conference, ASHM is delighted to announce a special runway show of HIV Unwrapped garments from around the world – celebrating the best in HIV science seen through the lens of emerging fashion designers.

This event is open to both conference delegates and the general public. First access tickets available to conference delegates during registration. General public tickets opening soon.
