Part of what sets ASHM conferences apart is that they are multidisciplinary. They bring together people from a broad range of professional backgrounds and people with lived experience, united by their passion for responding to HIV, viral hepatitis, and other sexual and reproductive health issues.
In acknowledgement of the immense value the allied health workforce and people with lived experience bring to our conferences, ASHM is pleased to offer scholarships exclusively to these groups.
Scholarships are available for people who are working in the HIV&AIDS and sexual and reproductive health sectors. This includes allied health workers, social workers, community and counsellors.
Applications are reviewed by three independent reviewers for each application according to the following scoring systems:
The scholarships will include:
- Registration to either the HIV&AIDS or Sexual and Reproductive Health Conferences
- Return travel
- Accommodation
These scholarships are funded in full by ASHM, in acknowledgement of the vital role the community and allied health workforce play in our sector. We will provide up to 20 scholarships per round, with preference given to those in the community or allied health sectors who are also ASHM members.
